Winter Reading Program

Gear up your sled dog team and get ready to race the Idita-READ!

Our Winter Reading Program's version of the famous Alaskan Sled Dog Race - the Iditarod - kicks off on December 1st at the Craig, Maybell and Dinosaur Branches.  All ages can register at any time during the program for free.  Kids and Teens get racing logs to track their time spent reading their way across Alaska to the finish line and earning fun prizes while our non-readers participate by being read to. Adults receive one entry into a gift basket drawing for every adult length book or audiobook completed during the program.  Stop by your local library branch or call 970.824.5116 for more information.

Winter Used Book Sale

     Have you browsed our used book shelf lately?  Nice, nearly new books are added weekly and with our current fall sale discount, you can't pass up this great deal.   We have Children's, Junior and Adult fiction and non-fiction in paperback and hardcover as well as DVDs and Audio books.  All books are the same price and all proceeds go directly back to our library!
